Synopsis
After 20 years in power, Vladimir Putin’s geopolitical strategy marks the great return of Russia to world affairs. This ambition, announced in 2007, seems to have taken Western chancelleries by surprise. Diplomats, opponents and observers analyze this “return of the Bear to the dance” and question the deep motivations of this new Cold War.
